The Air Fryer Cooking Times Reference You Need

If you have an air fryer and have been using it for a while, then you already know why these cookers have grown such a huge fan base. The air fryer is a total game-changer when it comes to executing delicious meals and tasty recipes quickly and easily.

But for both seasoned air fryer users and newbies alike, having useful reference materials on hand can save you time and effort. About My Air Fryer Cooking Times Cheat Sheet

Rather than looking up the cooking time and temperature every time you want to make meatballs, chicken wings, or roasted potatoes, my Air Fryer Cheat Sheet has all the information you need to know for air frying your favorite foods on one printable page.

Along with times and temperatures, my air fryer cooking times cheat sheet also features a few tips that will help ensure your food comes out perfect every time, including:

  • For foods with a cook time range, this indicates that the food will need more or less time depending on the size (ex. thin slices of bacon cook in about 6 minutes, while thick-cut bacon takes closer to 10 minutes).
  • Always arrange food in the basket in a single layerโ€”extra time may be required if you load it up.
  • Preheat your air fryer before adding food to it.
  • Shake or turn food part way through cooking to ensure the food cooks evenly.

  1. Thank you Jillee…this is wonderful!

Since air fryers can vary by model, do you happen to have the same cheat sheet without the recommended times/temps and instead, simply have a lined space for folks to write in their own time/temp?

Example…I had a Power XL AF that would hardboil 6 eggs at 260/16 minutes. My new Instapot Vortex does the same thing, only it’s 13 minutes.

The pictures would be wonderful for my adult son with ASD :)

  2. I bought an air fryer which is an oven, getting rid of my first smaller basket type. But Iโ€™m not as satisfied with the outcome of air frying in the oven style. Iโ€™d like to hear other comments about this.

    • Hi Ellie. Can you describe what it is you are not satisfied with?

It’s just me and my Son so it doesn’t make sense to turn on our gas oven (Especially here in Central Texas LOL) too often.

I use mine almost every single day. I meal prep for our week on Sundays. Some of those items simply taste better (think pizza, grilled cheese, french fries) heated up in the air fryer rather than popping them in the microwave.

  3. I have a question about my air fryer, and I hope some of you can help. I have a 6qt. fryer. The non-stick basket that holds whatever you are cooking is in perfect condition however, the paint is beginning to peel on the bottom of the actual drawer that holds the basket. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it ok to keep using it? It still SEEMS to be ok, and I would hate to have to buy another one! I appreciate ANY and ALL help you have to offer! Thanks so much…

    • Hi Deb. This hasn’t happened to me but I would think this needs to be returned to the store.

It should not be doing that.

If you can’t return it, head to the manufactures website along with your model and serial number and see if you can get help there.

  4. Your air fryer 101 link takes you to your instant pot link. Is this an error?

  5. I don’t have an Air Fryer…yet. I wanted to read your post ‘Air Fryer 101″ but the link takes me to the Instant Post info. I also tried doing a search on your website but couldn’t find it. Could you please fix the link?
